FREEDOM ASOCIACIÓN LGBT SE REÚNE CON LA CONCEJALA DE IGUALDAD DEL AYUNTAMIENTO DE SAN BARTOLOMÉ DE TIRAJANA
Reunión para charlar, debatir y presentar propuestas de cara a la celebración del día internacional del colectivo LGTBI y para que Maspalomas siga siendo el destino turístico LGTBI No1 de Europa.
24.Jun.2020 – Español: Fernando Ilarduya, presidente de Freedom Asociación LGBT, asociación de empresas de lesbianas, gais, transexuales y bisexuales de Maspalomas se ha reunido esta mañana con la Concejala de Igualdad, Diversidad y Juventud, Doña Irasema Victoria Hernández Marrero.
En la reunión mantenida entre ambos se han hablado de una serie de propuestas que tienen como objetivo estrechar lazos y demostrar que el municipio tiene todo lo necesario para que siga siendo el destino LGTBI Nº1 de Europa y para reivindicar los derechos del colectivo en la 51º edición del día internacional del Orgullo LGTBIQ+.
Uno de los temas tratados ha sido el de la lectura conjunta de un manifiesto o “pregón” que reivindique y visibilice al colectivo LGTB del municipio, en especial al colectivo trans. Por problemas de agenda el acto de esta lectura se hará el próximo martes 30 de junio a las 10:00 en el propio Ayuntamiento. A la cita acudirán la alcaldesa Conchi Narváez, la concejala Irasema Hernández Marrero, el Sr. Fernando Ilarduya, diferentes miembros del grupo de gobierno y Eva Pascual de Chrysallis, la Asociación de Familias de Menores Trans de las Islas Canarias.
También hablaron de que se hará, como viene siendo costumbre, el izado de la bandera arcoíris a las puertas del Ayuntamiento de San Bartolomé de Tirajana que ondeará hasta el día 5 de julio coincidiendo con el fin de la celebración del orgullo estatal.
Otro tema ha sido el de trabajar conjuntamente en una campaña en redes sociales con motivo de la celebración del día internacional del Orgullo LGTBIQ+ y que se llevará a cabo durante los próximos días.
“Seguiremos trabajando conjuntamente con la asociación Freedom en acciones encaminadas a dar la visibilidad que necesita el colectivo LGTBI en nuestro municipio y que iremos desarrollando en los próximos meses” comentó la Concejala de Igualdad, Diversidad y Juventud, Irasema Hernández Marrero.
“Ha sido una reunión muy amena y la concejala ha mostrado una predisposición sin igual en seguir apoyando al colectivo y en impulsar al municipio a una mayor visibilidad y diversidad” ha concluido Fernando Ilarduya a la finalización del encuentro.

In the meeting held between them, they discussed a series of proposals that aim to strengthen ties and demonstrate that the municipality has everything necessary to continue being the LGTBI destination No. 1 in Europe and to claim the rights of the community in the 51st edition of the LGTBIQ+ International Pride Day.
One of the topics discussed has been the joint reading of a manifesto or “proclamation” that claims and makes visible the LGBT community in the municipality, especially the trans community. Due to scheduling problems, the act of this reading will be held next Tuesday, June 30 at 10:00 in the City Hall itself. The appointment will be attended by the mayor Conchi Narváez, the councilor Irasema Hernández Marrero, Mr. Fernando Ilarduya, different members of the government and Eva Pascual from Chrysallis, the Association of Trans Families of Minors of the Canary Islands.
They also talked about how the rainbow flag will be hoisted at the doors of the San Bartolomé de Tirajana Town Hall, which will fly until July 5, coinciding with the end of the national pride celebration.
Another topic has been to work together on a social media campaign to celebrate the international LGBTIQ + Pride day, which will take place over the next few days.
“We will continue to work together with the Freedom association in actions aimed at giving the visibility that the LGTBI community needs in our municipality and that we will develop in the coming months,” said the Councilor for Equality, Diversity and Youth, Irasema Hernández Marrero.
“It was a very pleasant meeting and the councilor has shown an unrivaled predisposition to continue supporting the community and to promote the municipality to greater visibility and diversity” concluded Fernando Ilarduya at the end of the meeting.
